Life Skills |
Life Skills have been defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as “Abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enable individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life.” Life skill education helps students to enhance their personal and interpersonal skills. Keeping this objective in mind one session per week has been assigned for classes I to X. Expected learning outcomes include a combination of knowledge, values, attitudes and skills with a particular emphasis on those skills that are related to critical thinking and problem solving. Project Read |
This is a project that has helped us so much and it will also help us in our future. We would like to thank our principal ma’am for introducing such an excellent project. Our principal herself conducted the project. This is a new concept and we really appreciate it. This project also helped us to improve our reading skills. This encouraged the students by giving ranks and the students who got the top positions were awarded with inspirational books. She also introduced activities like quizzes on the books we read. She also gave us books to read in the vacation, which helped us to improve our vocabulary and this is one part of our reading project- Stuti Desai Class- VII |
Fancy Dress Competition |
A Fancy Dress Competition for Primary section was organized in the School Foyer on 8 Oct. 2014. Children from Jr.Kg. & Sr.Kg. participated in the program. Some of the personas in which the children were dressed included a commando, joker, doctor, fairy, Elephant, lion, politician, and many more. Competitions such as Fancy Dress are not only restricted to the students, but also extended to the parents, and the effort made and interest taken by the parents was evident in the costumes of the children. The enthusiasm and zeal with which the children participated and performed was extremely commendable. Monil Gokani Class- IX |
