‘Zy-art-Fiesta’ an Inter school art competition was held on 26th November, 2014 in the Zydus School for excellence, Godhavi by Art Department and Jagriti House. It was the day where the creativity of students was exploded in every piece of art. It was a wonderful opportunity to think out of the box. The competition not only served its sole purpose but also gave the students a platform to display their vivid ideas and learned more by competing with others. Total six prominent schools participated in this competition. These schools were DAV International School, DPS Bopal, Shanti Asiatic School, LML School, Anand Niketan Satellite, and Zydus School for Excellence, Vejalpur. The Zydus School for Excellence, Godhavi only participated in the competition but did not compete for any position. The judges for the competition were Ms. Rupal Shah and Ms Bruna Mistry who were the renowned artists.

 

There were four specific events for this competition namely,

Group A under the age group of 8 to 10 yrs. did clay work on earthen plates.

Group B under the age group of 11 to 13yrs. made lamp shades.

Group C under the age group of 13 to 16yrs. made posters on safety as a broad theme to explore.

Group D under the age group of 13 to 16yrs. painted Doodle Art.

Time limit for each event was 2 hrs.

 

The result was an excellent display of creativity and colour. The students showed their marvelous creativity through the medium of art. It was a good learning experience for the students. The result for the following events was:

The first position in “Clay Work On Earthen Plates” was bagged by Zydus School for Excellence, Vejalpur, the second and third positions were bagged by DAV International School.

The first position in “Lamp Shade ” was bagged by DPS, Bopal, the second position was bagged by DAV International School and third position was bagged by Anand Niketan Satellite.

The first position in “Poster on Safety ” was bagged by Anand Niketan Satellite, the second position was bagged by DPS, Bopal and the third position was bagged by Shanti Asiatic school.

The first position in “Doodle Art ” was bagged by Shanti Asiatic school, the second and third positions were bagged by LMLSchool.

The Overall Winner’s Trophy was bagged by the students of DAV School.
