By: Bhagvad Gita - Lord Krishna- With this message Zydus School for Excellence Godhavi took an initiative to spread the message of Janmashtami and make children aware of what this festival is and why actually is it celebrated in a very enjoyable manner. The motto of Zydus family is to always make an event much better than it could ever be. This was celebrated in the Pre-Primary section of ZSE – Godhavi. The celebration took place in the Activity room. An atmosphere was created like that of the birth place of Lord Krishna. The room was decorated very beautifully and on a rope a matki or handi was tied which instead of curd had lots of chocolates to awaken the notorious Bal Krishna in every child. Children were dressed in the traditional dresses. Girls resembling Radha and boys resembling Krishna. An idol of Lord Krishna was placed in the juhla. This was decorated very beautifully. The story of Lord Krishna and his heroic deeds was narrated to the Children by the teachers. After all this the Zydans sung the Aarti for Lord Krishna and prayed to him to always shower his blessings on them. Especially for this occasion mishri and sweets were distributed.The auspicious celebration ended with students and teacher dancing on tal of Dhol and nagada.So this was how one more auspicious festival was celebrated within the Zydus family along with the cute little Zydans with lots of joy and enthusiasm.
