“Literature is a textually transmitted disease, normally contacted in childhood.” What simplicity and truth these lines convey! I feel no remedy can cure this persuasive disease of literature. A person can always flip through his books and relish this panorama of literature. It enthrals and captures you immediately in its magnificent world. Books are divided into two classes, the books of a hour and the books of all time , Shakespeare was one such for me. I evidently do remember myself reading a Shakespeare, I surely couldn’t resist coming out of the world of Macbeth, Othello or Hamlet! My pick from this vast collection of classics will always be Shakespeare, the utter simplicity and resemblance to our everyday life that it offers is unmatched. “Literature is the most agreeable way of ignoring life”, so whenever you go through the ups and downs of life just grab a book and loose yourself in it, it will be too soon that you forget them; such is this panoramic world of literature.
