For the very first time in our school a National Level Workshop ‘ROBO-NEXT Junior-2015 Series cum championship in association with Padarth ’15, IIT Bombay was taken on November 8th and 9th , 2014. Our students from class V to X had actively participated in it. Approximately 104 pupils took part in this workshop. Research person Mr. Kapil Mehta and Mr. Prashant Sharma of I, Sec Systems conducted a two day workshop which got concluded with a contest. Timing of the workshop was 8 AM to 2 PM. Registrations Fees: Rs. 950 per participant. Students were divided in a group of three, four and five scholars and each group was supplied with a tool kit to build a golem. It tracked the topic Wireless Robots. On the first day theory and setting up of the robot was taught. The second day they taught : 1. Line follower with two sensors 2. Sound sensor with 4 different combinations 3. Infra Red rays control car Topic for the competition was Line follower with a single sensor. Time Limit for this round was 60 minutes. Three Groups won the competition: First spot was guaranteed by a group of 5 boys of 3 boys of class VI and 2 boys of class V combine. Second position was secured by class X students 5 boys. Third position was secured by class IX students 3 boys. Total 13 students were selected and instantly as per their details they will be performing the second round in Mumbai. Details regarding it will be mailed us before long. All the students were presented with the participation certificate. Merit Certificates for Winners will be parceled by them till 15 November.
