A RENDEZVOUS WITH NATURE:
We have no time to stand and stare, No time to stand beneath the boughs, and stare as long as sheep or cows, No time for all, when woods we pass, Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass. No time to see broad daylight Streams of stars, like skies at night. W.H Davies has made an accurate estimate of modern life in a highly mechanized and swiftly changing world where there is a mad rush to procure all the material comforts of life. There is very little time to enjoy the beauty and serenity of nature. But we at Zydus, comprehend both the pace at which things are moving and the needs of young enterprising students. In order to give the children an opportunity to experience the beauty of idyllic surroundings, to organize tours and camps at alluring destinations. This enables the students to unravel the mysteries of nature and quench their thirst of adventure. It fosters values and prepares them to face the real challenges of life after a healthy interaction with the pastoral environment. Students of Class VIII were taken to Mount Abu where in the students of the school experienced a rejuvenating session while they basked in the luxury of nature during their visit to the camp. It was not only a rendezvous with nature, but a great exposure to groom the agility and fitness of the students who vented out their juvenile energy through multifarious activities like rock climbing, trekking, zip line and other informative visits to horticulture sites Students of Class IX visited the Velavadra National Park. It was a thrilling experience to have Blackbucks in herds leaping, galloping, jumping and running before our eyes in this area. Children also visited to Lothal and experienced the excavation during the Mohenjo-Daro period which is around 450 years old. Neha Sharma Class X |
